So Sorry!

My dearest blog friends,

I am so sorry I am not posting a normal post today, but my life looks like this right now:

I have a neuro test on Tuesday and I get pretty into my studying… I don’t settle for anything less than a 93 because… well… I’m a little crazy.  So I apologize for the disappearing act I’ll be pulling for the remainder of the weekend.  I hope you all have an enjoyable fall weekend!

xoxo,
Meredith

What are you doing this weekend?

–and/or–

What are some strengthening moves I can do for my legs (any muscle)… all I’ve been doing is running, weighted squats, and calf raises.

–and/or–

Tell me something that will make me smile :D I need it!

  1. OO just thought of another one (my fav!) single leg squats–stand a couple feet in front of a bench, rest one leg behind you on the bench, squat to 90 degrees with the leg out front…you can hold dumbbells to make it harder once you get the hang of it. Then switch obv.
[I hope the instructions make sense, if not I'll show ya next time you're over :-) ]

  2. ooh I know the feeling of never wanting to get less than an A…because I am the same way. I’ll take a B reluctantly…but I much prefer earning an A! &Don’t apologize- you gotta do what you gotta do!
For my legs, I do deadlifts, weighted squats, calf raises, weighted lunges, and stiff leg deadlifts. I’m currently hobbling around like an old woman because I’m so sore from my leg workout on Wednesday :P
Good luck on your test and I hope you have a great weekend!

  3. Aw girl I feel ya I have been so bad about posting regularly…life is just too crazy! Good luck on your upcoming test!
My absolute FAVORITE go-to leg exercise are single leg RDL’s (you can google image it or youtube it to see exactly what it looks like) it makes my hamstrings sore EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!
